Live Webinar with Dr. Michelle May in Australia

By Michelle May, M.D.

Owen and Michelle May Down UnderSome of you may know that I have strong personal and professional connections Down Under. My husband Owen is a Kiwi (that’s what they call people from New Zealand) and I have in-laws in Brisbane and Cairns, Australia. We also have Am I Hungry? Mindful Eating Facilitators in Australia where the mindful eating, non-diet, HAES® approach is rapidly growing!

I have been invited to do a webinar hosted by Dietitian Connection based in Australia. Maree, the founder of Dietitian Connection attended my keynote presentation at the Dietitians of Canada National Conference in Toronto this summer and invited me to share this practical approach to mindful eating via webinar.* This webinar is especially geared toward health professionals but everyone is welcome. Also, since it is web-based, you may attend from anywhere in the world.

One of our Australia-based facilitators, Jane O’Shea, will be doing the introduction. You’ll enjoy reading about her discovery of mindful eating in this article, Reflections of a Frustrated Dietitian.

Below are the rest of the details; I’d love to have you join us! Better yet, invite me down under to speak; I’m always looking for reasons to visit my family and friends!
