Labor Day Recipe Round-Up!

Chipotle Portobello BurgersI LOVE these holiday weekends! We like to get out of the heat and spend time with family and friends. As many of you know, my husband, Chef Owen and I love to create great food together. I’ve also taken up a new hobby – photography! We are adding about one recipe a week with photos to the I Am Hungry? section of this website. With Labor Day weekend coming up, I’ve rounded up a few of our favorite recipes that would be great for a Labor Day Holiday BBQ.

Before we get to the Labor Day recipes, let’s remind ourselves that the real purpose of these holiday gatherings is the connections. Food is just the background music!

Labor Day BBQ Menu

Appetizer: GGrilled Veggie Platterrilled Veggie Platter

Salad: Spinach Orzo Salad with Lemon Dressing

Main Course: Chipotle Portobello Burgers

Dessert: Toasted Angel Food Cake with Berries and Fresh Whipped Cream
