Coming Home!

welcome hanging signYou know that feeling of coming home? That’s what I feel this week, and this is only Week 1 of Am I Hungry?®. I feel that I’m returning to a sane, comforting environment after years of searching.

The descriptions for the overeating cycle and the restrictive cycle are so familiar. I’ve spun in those cycles so many times. Reading, “Eat What You Love, Love What You Eat” makes me feel so understood. I know I’m only beginning this program, but it feels so right, so natural. No more trying to be perfect with my eating rules, no more hopelessness when I’ve overeaten.

This is more than a program, this is a healing process. I am so grateful to Dr. May and this community.
