For me, it was like coming home. I felt so understood and hopeful. It just made sense. What I had been doing was not working, and the Am I Hungry?®  program offered clear steps to stop doing what I was doing, and even more important, taught me what to do instead.

I knew almost instantly that I would never diet again. Instead, I began to listen to my body and my inner wisdom; and I started practicing self-care and mindful eating. The healing of my mind, body, and soul began immediately. And it continues.

My relationship with food has changed; I no longer feel guilty when I eat or out of control because I can’t stop. In the past, I had to coax and bribe myself to exercise. Now, I look forward to it! I no longer have the degrading habit of comparing my body, my behaviors, and my food choices with others. It truly is like returning home after traveling many arduous miles.
