Dr. Michelle May, founder of Am I Hungry?, and her husband, Chef Owen May, share their family’s favorite recipes. Chef Owen is the owner of Chef with Benefits and offers cooking lessons and cooking parties in Phoenix, Arizona. He graduated with honors from Arizona Culinary Institute and is the former Chef de Cuisine at Aji Spa, Sheraton Wildhorse Pass. Michelle and Owen created recipes for Eat What You Love, Love What You Eat and co-authored a cookbook with their vegetarian daughter, Elyse, called Veggie Teens.

Michelle and Owen hope that as you learn to eat what you love and love what you eat, you’ll also discover (or rediscover) joy in preparing and sharing delicious, nutritious meals with your family and friends. Bon appétit!
 

Sweet potatoes are nutritious complex carbohydrate; they are a good source of fiber and beta-carotene. Roast them with a little olive oil and other favorite vegetables and they might be better than french fries!
These easy grilled vegetables are great to have on hand for paninis, salads, pasta, and snacks, or arrange the vegetables on a platter and serve at a party.
