Meet Dr. Michelle May, founder of the Am I Hungry? Mindful Eating Programs and Training, and her husband, Chef Owen May. They create and share their family’s favorite recipes in the I Am Hungry! section of www.AmIHungry.com.
Chef Owen is the owner of Chef with Benefits and offers cooking lessons and cooking parties in Phoenix, Arizona. He graduated with honors from Arizona Culinary Institute and is the former Chef de Cuisine at Aji Spa, Sheraton Wildhorse Pass. Michelle and Owen created recipes for Michelle’s award-winning book, Eat What You Love, Love What You Eat. They also co-authored a cookbook with their vegetarian daughter, Elyse, called Veggie Teens.
Michelle and Owen love to dine out, travel, taste wine, and entertain friends and family. They hope that as you learn to eat what you love and love what you eat, you’ll also discover (or rediscover) joy in preparing and sharing delicious, nutritious meals with the people you love.
